Every NOAC has a theme. But the best themes become more than a slogan - they become something people carry with them long after the conference ends.
Today, we're excited to introduce the theme for the 2027 National Order of the Arrow Conference.
Our Time
Simple. Open-ended. And completely intentional.
Because no two Arrowmen arrive at NOAC with the same story. Some are discovering leadership for the first time. Some are reconnecting with friends they haven't seen in years. Some are wondering what role they'll play in their lodge when they return home.
A single sentence shouldn't tell thousands of people what they're supposed to feel. Instead, it should invite them to discover what it means for themselves.
Our Time is exactly that.
For one person, it may be our time to lead. For another, our time to serve. For a lodge, it might be our time to grow.
The meaning isn't something we're giving to you. It's something you'll discover together.
More Than a Logo
A theme is only memorable if people make it their own. That belief shaped every part of the visual identity.
We kept coming back to one idea throughout the design process:
A brand that only lives in the hands of a designer isn't a brand at all - it's a poster.
The identity had to be recognizable. Simple enough to remember. Simple enough to sketch. Flexible enough that every Arrowman could see themselves in it.
At its center is the OA sash - the most recognizable symbol of our Order. From there, the mark tells four stories.
Step Up and Lead the Way
Leadership has always been passed from one generation to the next. Every Arrowman builds on those who came before them. This is your opportunity to step forward and help shape what comes next.
One Order, Many Stories
We all wear the same sash, but no two journeys are alike. The identity reflects the shared values that unite us while leaving room for every Arrowman's unique story.
Be the Change You Want to See
The movement within the mark reminds us that the future isn't something we wait for. Every generation has a responsibility to move the Order forward.
A Life of Service
Subtle knot-inspired details point to one of Scouting's simplest ideas: Do a Good Turn Daily. The future of the Order will always be built through everyday acts of service.
The Beginning of the Story
If you've already watched the launch trailer, you may have noticed something. It doesn't explain the theme. It doesn't tie everything together. It leaves questions unanswered.
That was intentional.
Like Our Time, the trailer isn't meant to tell you exactly what to think. It's an invitation - to reflect, to wonder, and to begin asking what Our Time means for you.
Over the coming months, we'll continue sharing more of the story behind the theme, the visual identity, and the experiences we're creating for NOAC 2027.
But for now, the conversation begins with a simple question.
What does Our Time mean to you?
